Ruth has over 20 years’ experience as a commercial lawyer, both in private practice and as in-house counsel.  Before joining Precision Group, Ruth was Senior Legal Counsel for Westfield and Scentre Group, providing strategic legal advice in a business context.  Prior to that she was a Senior Associate at Simpson Grierson in New Zealand, specialising in commercial property and shopping centres.

Ruth has extensive, broad experience in property and corporate transactions, contracts, litigation and dispute resolution, risk and compliance.  Ruth holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of Auckland, New Zealand and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 1997.  She is also admitted to the Supreme Courts of New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia.

Ruth is not only very strong technically, but Ruth also has a people and community focus; she is a leader who genuinely cares and is highly effective at understanding another’s perspective. A champion for diversity and the agenda for change.
